What’s Inside

Reflection, Creativity, Connection and the Natural World.

Often overlooked and frequently misunderstood, the prairie holds lessons about resilience, diversity, and deep interconnection. This journal invites you to slow down and listen.

Each of the 52 prompts starts with a detail about North American prairies: how plants adapt, how ecosystems interconnect, how life thrives in overlooked places. Then comes the question that turns that observation inward, connecting to your own life and experiences.

Example Prompt:

One way butterfly milkweed (Asclepias tuberosa) and pale purple coneflower (Echinacea pallida) have adapted to dry conditions is by having narrow leaf structures that minimize water loss to evaporation.

Reflect on your own resilience. Are there conditions in your life that feel less than ideal that you have adapted to?

  • Tap into creativity through weekly prompts rooted in prairie wisdom

  • Build a meaningful year-long practice that grounds you

  • Connect with something bigger than yourself
